As a child, I was quiet and introverted, often lost in imaginary worlds through drawing, far removed from the games and laughter of other children. My parents quickly recognized the potential of my growing passion for the arts and enrolled me at the age of nine at the École des Beaux-Arts in Saint-Hyacinthe. During my eleven years of study there, I learned the fundamental principles of art: perspective, the interplay of light and shadow, the subtleties of soft pastels, and finally, the richness of oil painting. These formative years shaped my perspective on the world.

In 2014, my work in the healthcare field forced me to put my passion on hold. However, a few years later, an unexpected gift—an easel—allowed me to reconnect with it. While honing my oil painting skills, I explored the fabulous world of acrylic textures and the delicate nuances of watercolor on my own.

Being a nostalgic soul, I like to finish my works knowing that they evoke a pure and poignant emotion. Today, each piece I create is a reflection of my journey, a fusion of my scientific rigor, my artistic quest, and a piece of my own story.

Finally, you will also notice a beautiful balance between the details applied with a brush and the textures of vibrant colors applied with a spatula in each work I create.
